Everything from cheap sunglasses to luxury fashion lines have been marketed on Pinterest and in increasingly popular ways. This red hot social media hub has proven to be an ideal hub for fashionistas, designers, bloggers, and a wide variety of people involved in the fashion industry.

A great example of how the 10 million+ member Pinterest is influencing the fashion world occurred in February when the Wall Street Journal launched a social media initiative for the Fall New York Fashion Week. The seasonal Fashion Week featured dozens of designers and fashion celebrities, such as Angela Simmons, Beverly Johnson, Zoe Kravitz, Idris Elba, and June Ambrose.
